Frequently Asked Questions

CREW is a private executive peer group and professional networking community for senior leaders at the VP, C-Suite, and executive level. It's a place where experienced leaders build trusted relationships, access peer support and expert resources, and grow — both professionally and personally. CREW was founded by Andy and Adam McGraw, whose combined executive experience convinced them that leadership is better when it's not lonely.
-
CREW is designed for senior leaders with at least 12 years of business experience who currently hold a VP, C-Suite, Managing Director, Board, or equivalent executive role. More than a title requirement, CREW looks for people who are committed to growth, willing to give back to the community, and interested in real relationships — not just transactional networking.
-
IMost executive communities cluster leaders by industry or title. CREW doesn't — we're exclusive in the caliber of leader we bring together, but deliberately diverse in who that leader is: different industries, different functions, different titles, and a membership that spans genders, not a single lane repeated back to itself. That range is the point. It's what turns a room of peers into a source of genuine outside perspective, and it creates an atmosphere of unconditional support where real connection can take root. That shows up in small peer cohorts that meet monthly, candid Virtual Collectives on the topics that matter most, and in-person Hub Meetups in your city — each one built to go deeper than surface-level networking and help leaders unlock their greatest potential.
-
Membership is by application and interview. The process has three steps: (1) submit your application, (2) complete a 30-minute membership interview with our team, and (3) receive your approval and invitation. CREW reviews each application carefully to ensure alignment with our core values and that every member can both benefit from and contribute to the community.
-
Cohorts are small, consistent groups of 8–12 fellow CREW members who meet virtually once a month for 90 minutes. They're inspired by Benjamin Franklin's original Junto — a group built to help its members grow personally and strengthen their community. Members are organized by level, and the format is designed for honest conversation: members come ready to share a real challenge, question, or update, and receive candid feedback from peers across industries. Each cohort also has its own space in the CREW app so conversations continue between meetings.
-
Virtual Collectives are 60-minute peer-led sessions where members come together around specific topics. They're open, candid conversations guided by a member moderator, not webinars or presentations. All collectives are open to full CREW members, and members can join as many as are relevant to them.
-
Coaching Experiences are structured multi-week programs led by outside experts. Coaching Experiences come with real curriculum, practice, and accountability. Current programs include: Positive Intelligence (a 7-week mental fitness program) and Storytelling with Cal Fussman (a 5-week program to help executives communicate more powerfully). Programs run on a rolling schedule and are available to full members.
-
Hub Meetups are intimate, in-person gatherings for CREW members in the same city — a dinner, happy hour, or casual gathering organized by a local Hub Ambassador. They're intentionally unstructured: no keynote, no agenda, just real conversation with fellow executives who live near you. Full membership includes access to your local hub and the full national community.
-
CREW Summits are the flagship in-person events where the full community gathers. They feature keynote Masterclasses from world-class speakers, immersive experiences, and unstructured time for the real conversations that define CREW.
-

If you're a CREW member, you can refer a VP-level or C-Suite executive to join. The referral process is simple: make the referral, ensure you've had a personal conversation with the prospect about CREW and your experience, and once they join, you'll receive a $150 Visa gift card 30 days after their membership starts. Referrals strengthen the community for everyone, and they're how CREW has grown.
